     Which Office Where?

At times Montauk State Park can be confusing.  "Where do I get my license?" "Where can I check on a shelter house reservation?" "Who can tell me if this fly is legal?"

Montauk has three main offices - each one is responsible for specific items.  If you need a fishing license, motel room or cabin, or if you would like to reserve the Searcy Building for a family reunion, only the Lodge can help you.

To reserve one of the open shelter houses or obtain camping information, please go to the park office, which is across the road from the lodge, at the far end of the Searcy Building.

To be sure of fishing regulations, or to report a fishing violation, see the folks at the Missouri Department of Conservation Hatchery, located at the end of Spring Branch Road near the cemetery.

If that isn't enough offices for you, here are a couple more: the naturalist office, across from the hatchery, and the DNR maintenance shop!

In any case, all of the lodge personnel, Missouri Department of Natural Resources and Missouri Department of Conservation employees are here to serve you, and will help you in any way they can, regardless of which office you find first!
